Copaiba - An Essential Oil You Won't Want to Be Without!

The only ingredient I had not encountered before in the Deep Relief Roll-On was the copaiba essential oil from near the basin of the Amazon rain forest.

Here's a quick example.

When I gave the Deep Relief Roll-On to a friend only days before her daughter's wedding, she said that she had a splitting headache. When she finished applying it to her head, she told me that her headache was gone! I couldn't believe it and thought she was humoring me, so I asked her if she had discomfort anywhere else. Yes, so next she applied it to her aching shoulders. Here, it was not total immediate relief, but pretty quick improvement.

When I got home that evening, I told my husband about this experience and that I thought my friend was humoring me by saying that her headache went away immediately. My husband is in the pharmaceutical industry and informed me that yes, some compounds can actually provide immediate relief.

How can copaiba benefit you?

The particular aromatherapy oil from Young Living contains compounds with many different properties. Some of these properties are

  • anti-inflammatory
  • antibiotic
  • antibacterial
  • anticancer
  • anesthetic
  • emollient

The new Copaiba comes in a 15 ml bottle and is item number 3431 at Essential Oils Products. This new aromatherapy oil is pronounced C(oh)-p(ah)-EEE-b(ah), with the accent on the third syllable.

It is available as a single oil and as one of the ingredients in the Breathe Again Roll-On and the Deep Relief Roll-On. The Breathe Again Roll-On is item number 3528 and the Deep Relief Roll-On is item number 3534 at Essential Oils Products.

So how is the new copaiba oil used?

Even as pharmaceutical drugs are sometimes prescribed "off label," so also there must be additional uses for this new oil. I can assure you that as more and more people discover this wonderful oil, that more and more uses will become known.

When you begin using copaiba and discover - accidentally or on purpose - a new way of using it, I invite you to let me know and we can add your story to this website - your photo and website also, if you'd like! You may order this new oil at Essential Oils Products.

It has been around for at least 400 years!

The resin and essential oil was first recorded in European medical journals in 1625. It was used in Native American recipes. In Brazil, it is a popular traditional medicine. Amazonian traditional medical practitioners know that it is commonly used in anti-inflammatory drugs that they prescribe. It has also been listed in pharmacopeias in both Europe and North America.
