Green Cleaning with Essential Oils

Green Cleaning with Essential Oils

Cleaning is a good thing, green cleaning with eco-friendly products is better, but what about cleaning with eco-friendly products that also build your immune system? Cleaning with essential oils can do that! Imagine building your immune system not only while you are cleaning, but also having any remaining aroma continue to help with your immune system even after you’ve finished cleaning!

Green cleaning agents that use essential oils as their active ingredient can be used to kill germs and bacteria without the use of toxic chemicals.

For example, removing mold from our homes can be a frustrating and ongoing task. Many of us just run down to the supermarket and grab a bottle of a chlorine-based mold remover, which is sure to be quick and easy- and unfortunately terrible for us and the environment. Tea Tree oil, on the other hand, is a natural antiseptic and fungicide. It works remarkably well at mold removal and is nontoxic.

Essential oil-based cleaners can be used to effectively clean your house, your office, your car, and even in your laundry. Yes, also in kitchens and bathrooms, saunas and Jacuzzis, and on tile floors, wood floors, carpets, and more.

Those of you who have been visiting my website for a while know that I’m a big fan of the Thieves Household Cleaner. Those who are new to my website are in for a treat! The oils in this special cleaner are lemon, clove, cinnamon, eucalyptus, and rosemary. They are highly antiviral, antiseptic, antibacterial, and protect the body against viral infections such colds and flu. Enough cannot be said about the benefits of Thieves Household Cleaner.

However, even individual essential oils can be used to make a spray for dust cloths, to add a special zing to paint, and more. You’ll find some valuable recipes here!

If you have pets, you may be interested in a safe, essential-oil-based shampoo for them too.

I must admit that I’ve never enjoyed cleaning so much as since I started using essential oil-based cleaners such as the Thieves Household Cleaner. I’ll be sharing how I use it in the kitchen, bathroom, and more.
